Founded in Fall of 2019, Policy Over Politics is a non-partisan political action committee in San Diego County. We exist to amplify the voices of the under-served communities throughout our city. We are here to amplify and support the community’s voice and vision. Our mission is to bring attention, support, and resources to the most effective, non-partisan organizations and individuals in our region.

At this moment in our nation’s history, political, social, and economic divides are larger than ever before. It has opened eyes across the nation to the injustices that are faced by our fellow American citizens. And at this moment, we chose to ask ourselves; are we doing enough in our own communities to make those voices heard? Here at Policy Over Politics, we aim to illuminate and expand the representation of non-partisan politics.
our Goals
Our central goal is to enhance the representation of non-partisan legislation in San Diego County. However, we are very much committed to collaborations with national organizations who are also pushing legislative reform on the federal level. Policy Over Politics emphasizes organizations and political leaders that are best able to communicate the true needs of the constituents they serve, rather than the parties they affiliate with.
